| Sandra Alland is a Scottish-Canadian writer, multimedia artist and activist. Her photographs, installations, videos, poems, stories, articles and plays have been published and presented across Canada, the US, Mexico, Bermuda, the UK and Spain. She has published two books of poetry, Blissful Times (BookThug, 2007) and Proof of a Tongue (McGilligan, 2004). Forest Publications has just released her first chapbook of short fiction, Here's To Wang. Sandra's photographs have been showcased at the Contact Festival in Toronto, and her short films and slide shows have been presented at such places as Canzine and Soho Theatre. She currently collaborates with Y. Josephine in the poetry-music fusion band, Zorras, and co-curates the queer cabaret night, Cachín Cachán Cachunga!, at The Street in Edinburgh. |
