| Ajamu X is an internationally acclaimed photographic artist, curator and one of Britain’s leading specialist on Black Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender history. His work has been shown in work in galleries, museums and alternative places around the world including New York, London, Sao Paulo, Berlin and Amsterdam. He is the co-founder of rukus! Federation, an award winning company dedicated to showcasing the best in provocative and challenging works by Black LGBT Artists, activists and cultural producers nationally and internationally. Ajamu X is currently artist in residence at Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA). | |
